Sometimes you just happen to be at the right place at the right time to experience some of the most beautiful moments on Earth. This oil painting was inspired by my recent travel to Hawaii. It captures translucent ocean waves of all different shades of blue and green rolling towards the Waikiki Beach and breaking in intricate foam patterns. I felt so inspired, so alive, so in tune with the healing energy of the ocean and this painting is my tribute to the ancient power and spirit-elevating beauty of the Pacific.

I’m a big fan of Eva’s work—the realism in her seascapes perfectly captures how I feel at my happy place: the coast. I chose this piece for my children’s room because it reminds me of running through the sand dunes with them on our beach trips. I’m already looking forward to adding more of her art to our home in the future!
